We're not exaggerating when we say this home is mere steps from the sea. The garden offers direct access to a rocky bathing area – not to mention sweeping views of the Bay of Alcudia – while a sandy beach is just a short walk down the coast. The design inside is contemporary, with zip-and-link beds creating flexible sleeping arrangements for families. And if the seafront location isn't enough, you'll find a panoramic seating area and a private swimming pool here, too – the perfect combination for fun in the sun.

The Edge of the Sea

Surrounded by nature with breathtaking views across the Mediterranean, this home opens its doors to a magical island retreat. Outside, you can spend leisurely days by the pool. There is also an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue and plenty of space to stretch out. Inside, the rooms provide a cool sanctuary, while the fire in the living room brings comfort to cooler evenings. You will also find one of the bedrooms is located in an independent cottage – perfect for those seeking a little extra privacy. From here, it’s less than two-kilometres to the centre of Deià, while the nearest beaches are a short drive away. 

Lavender Muse

Thanks to its elevated position, this home offers eyefuls of Galician countryside views at every turn. The simple cottage decor inside feels rustic and traditional, and may not suit those looking for an ultra-modern experience. But head outside and you’ll find the home’s terraced surroundings undeniably enchanting. A private pool, folds of flowerbeds, scads of vibrantly coloured fruit trees and sweeping views of the hills and woodlands await. Its rural locale means you’ll need a car to get around, but you needn’t drive far for a taste of local life. The spa town of Mondariz-Balneario is a ten-minute drive, and when you’re craving a day by the coast, you’ll find Cesantes forty minutes away. 


The Sun Always Shines

This contemporary villa perfectly blends coastal and Scandi styles to achieve a slice of modern paradise. And it’s not just the interior design that caught our eye here. There are private terraces and plunge pools when you want to enjoy a quiet moment, while the main terrace provides a large pool, an outdoor lounge and a dining area for sipping sangria long into the balmy evenings. Location-wise, you can dine and shop along the Puerto Banus marina or spend a beach day on Playa Nueva Andalucía – they’re walkable, though we suggest driving to maximise sunbathing time.

A Palm Dream

With its Mediterranean Sea views and private balcony, this apartment is the ideal place to crash between dips in the communal pool and tapas-tasting in the heart of Nerja. The private balcony is equipped with an awning (a welcome addition for when the sun becomes a bit much) and you’re only 200 metres or so from Playa Torrecilla. If you’d like to make your stay that little bit more special, your host provides a bottle of champagne as an optional add-on.

Sea Drift

Bursting with artisan shops and delicious eateries, Deiá is one of Mallorca's most vibrant villages. Its cobbled alleys and picturesque architecture have inspired countless artists and writers over the centuries, and this home puts you within striking distance of all it has to offer. The interiors are minimalist and natural, with traditional stone and wood accents adding a characterful touch. But there's no denying that the showstopper here is the terrace. With its sweeping panoramas and cosy seating area, it's impossible to imagine a better spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy the views.

Mallorcan Stone

If you’re searching for a coastal family getaway on the Costa del Sol, this could be the home for you. Nestled in Mijas Costa and boasting sea views from the private balcony, it’s sure to tick a lot of holiday boxes. The fuss-free interiors may not be full of luxurious touches, but it’s a comfortable home and the cosy kitchen means you can whip up culinary feasts – though, in summer, you may prefer to dine out at the on-site restaurant. Feeling the Spanish heat? Enjoy a dip in the communal pool or take a five-minute walk to the beach for a splash in the sea. 

Sunny Dreams

Even before entering the house, we fell under the spell of its surroundings – the glistening pool, the stunning views, the huge garden, and the outdoor dining area, inviting you to plan those magical alfresco feasts that go on long into the warm, Spanish nights. You’ll enjoy absolute privacy and tranquillity here, the perfect setting to catch up on your holiday reads and relax in one of the many sun loungers dotted about. 

Come inside and be prepared for a beautiful treat – what the home’s façade promises with its old-world glamour, the interior more than delivers. We love the stone and wood details, the unique art pieces and furnishings, and the cosy, inviting ambience. There is more than enough space to snuggle up and enjoy a movie night or an afternoon of wine and conversation, with an ornamental fireplace to add to that homely feel. 

The bedrooms, situated upstairs, are another highlight: with plush, comfy beds, timelessly stylish furnishings, and beautiful wooden floors, you’re guaranteed a restful sleep. 

Whenever you feel like exploring, there is an abundance of activities to be enjoyed in the area – from cycling and horse riding, to exploring the charming town of Calonge and the stunning beaches of the Costa Brava, just five and ten minutes away by car respectively.


Barefoot Contessa

Tucked away in Nueva Andalucia, this apartment is an ideal base for a couple on a Spanish getaway. We love the private garden area, perfect for evening barbecues or tapas on the terrace as the sun sets, while the communal pool offers respite from the heat at any time of day. A mere fifteen-minute stroll will take you to Puerto Banús or fifteen minutes in the car and you’ll be in Marbella. Here, you’re perfectly placed to explore all that this stretch of coastline has to offer.

Tropical Treat

A few metres from the Mediterranean, this home is perfectly placed to explore. There's a rocky beach across the street, but when you're not dipping your toes in the sea, make the short drive to Alcúdia's old town or head to buzzing Port d'Alcúdia for sand and sun. Back home, everyone will adore the terrace – the views are straight out of a postcard and make an ideal backdrop for dinner and drinks alfresco. The design inside may be a tad dated, but that aside, this is a practical option for family and friends wanting to be close to the Mallorcan coast.

With its traditional charm, beautiful views and range of impressive features, we weren’t surprised to hear that The Times had named this home as one of the best holiday villas in Spain. Outside, you can immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Andalucía while swimming in the pool. There is also an indoor pool, a jacuzzi and a sauna – making this the perfect setting for a restorative retreat. And when it comes to entertainment, you’ll find a games room, an outdoor bar, a wine cellar and plenty to explore in the surroundings. Your host is also on hand to help organise extras like horse riding and private chefs. Plus, it’s just a short drive to Gaucín and Colmenar. 

Spanish Romance

Sheltered by pine trees with beautiful views across the Bay of Pollensa, this home sets the tone for an idyllic island escape. From here, blissful days can be spent lounging by the pool and savouring sunset drinks on the terrace. There is also an outdoor kitchen, a bar and a barbecue – providing the perfect opportunity for magical evenings under the stars. Inside, the rooms are simple, traditional and family-friendly with plenty of space to stretch out and switch off. And for explorations further afield, it’s just a short walk to Mal Pas Beach, while Alcúdia is a short drive away.
